EMBRACE a relaxing and healthy lifestyle close to nature at Bukit Banyan, a 520-acre township built around a forest park on the fringes of Sungai Petani, Kedah.
The gated and guarded enclave, spread over undulating hills with lush landscaping and verdant surroundings, is being developed by Paramount Property and was first launched in 2012.
Currently the state’s first and only hilltop development, it was conceived to bring nature to one’s doorstep whilst keeping modern amenities, comforts and conveniences within easy reach.
The recently launched Phase 2 features Eugenia II double- storey semi-detached homes while Phase 2A comprises Azelia Elite II double-storey terrace units.
These houses will be featured at the upcoming Star Property Fair 2014 in Queensbay Mall, Penang.
The Eugenia II units have built-up areas of 3,432sq ft, sit on plots measuring 40ft x 90ft, and priced from RM599,900.
The Azelia Elite II homes have a built-up size of 2,642sq ft with a 24ft x 75ft footprint. They are selling from RM359,900.
“These extra-wide homes feature flexible and functional layouts that have long been our hallmark,” said Ooi Hun Peng (pic), chief executive officer of Paramount Property (Utara) Sdn Bhd.

The homes come with four bedrooms, each with en suite bathrooms. There is also a utility room.
Their North-South orientation also optimises exposure to sunlight, while the spacious car porch can accommodate up to three vehicles.
Security features like CCTV monitoring, 24-hour patrols, card-only access and an emergency hotline afford residents peace of mind.
Both phases are slated for completion by mid-2016.
“At the heart of Bukit Banyan will be a 25-acre Hill Park consisting of eight thematic landscaped zones for the enjoyment of every resident.
“Complementing these soothing greens are scenic ponds spread over a further 20 acres of land, as well as pocket parks in each individual precinct.
“Besides that, a 13-acre commercial centre will complete the commercial component of the mixed development,” Ooi pointed out.
To date, a total of 348 units have been completed and handed over under Phases 1 and 1A, consisting of double-storey terrace and semi-detached houses.
Besides the wholesome living environment, future residents of Bukit Banyan will also enjoy easy connectivity via the Eastern By-Pass, SP-Alor Setar Federal Route and North-South Highway.
As for the Sungai Petani town centre, it is just 9km away.
“We always uphold our philosophy of offering good quality and high value to buyers, along with functional and practical designs and concepts,” said Ooi.
“Bukit Banyan is no exception,” he added.
