IVORY Properties Group Berhad’s reputation as a lead-ing developer in Penang has moved up several notches after clinching the South-East Asia Property Awards (Malaysia) 2014 for its Island Resort Bungalows and The Latitude projects.
Ivory’s Island Resort Bungalows in Batu Ferringhi received the Highly Commended award under the category of Best Housing Development (North Malaysia) while The Latitude in Mount Erskine grabbed the Highly Commended award as Best Mid-Range Condo Development (North Malaysia).
Its executive director Datuk Ooi Chin Loo said the awards were a form of recognition for all the hard work put forth by the Ivory team in ‘building a better world for our future generation’.
“The awards have certainly added another two feathers to the Ivory cap as we celebrate our 15th anniversary this year,” he said in a statement after receiving the awards at the gala dinner in Kuala Lumpur recently.
Ivory also won an award in May for The Wave condominium project from the Asia-Pacific Awards 2014-2015 under the category of residential high-rise architecture.
Island Resort Bungalows, which is the third phase of Island Resort Development, comprises 22 bungalows at the Miami Beach in Batu Ferringhi.
The bungalows, ranging from 5,300sq ft to 7,850sq ft, are available in either three or four-storey units with broad decks, double height ceiling and split levels all of which point to an open concept resort of luxury.
“Batu Ferringhi is the second most popular destination after George Town, enclosed by beautiful white beaches and bountiful amenities, making it one of the top picks by home buyers.
“As such, clinics, hospitals, public and international schools, dining options, night markets, public transports and shopping malls provide all the convenience to the Batu Ferringhi community pairing up with the resort lifestyle,” said Ooi.
Making luxury a daily experience, The Latitude perched 153 metres above sea level, promotes affordable luxury by making mid-sized condominiums in the suburbs an attainable reality for those looking to upgrade their lifestyles.
South-East Asia Property Awards is part of the Asia Property Awards established in 2005 that have since expanded to reward developments, consultants, architects and designers in China, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines and Vietnam. - The Star
