THE 1.85km KTC Outer Ring Road encircling Kulim Techno-City (KTC) residential and commercial areas is now ready and will be open to traffic by the end of this month.
The four-lane 100ft-wide expressway, built at a cost RM20mil, will improve accessibility between parts of the KTC development in Kedah, which is being developed by Belleview Group and currently comprises Phases 1, 2, 3 and 4.
Besides leading to the upcoming Phase 5 and 6, it also connects to the Kulim High-Tech Park (KHTP) and surrounding neighbour-hoods.
The road provides motorists with easy access to the expressway and Jalan Mahang where the Kulim Hospital, petrol stations, schools, police and fire stations, as well as the Kulim Golf and Country Club are located.
Residents working in the nearby KHTP or those sending their children to nearby schools, will soon enjoy shorter travels to their destinations.
The road is also expected to increase the capital appreciation of houses in the vicinity including the recently completed KTC’s Phase 3C3 and Phase 4A2, of which 95% have been sold.
The Year 2015 is set to be momentous for KTC, regarded as an affordable premium and quality residential area, as Phase 1D, E and F are expected to be complete ahead of schedule in March.
Phase 2A, consisting 127 units of single-storey and 22 units of one-and-a-half-storey terrace homes are set for launch next month. - The Star
